Artistic Journey

My journey into art wasn’t just pursuing a talent…it was personal. Leaning into my creativity became my language during seasons of rebuilding, when life felt fractured and uncertain. In this latest chapter, I found myself drawn to materials that build, break, shift, and react ~ joint compound, glass, resin, pigments, diluted paint for different effects ~ because they reflected my own evolution. What started as experimentation slowly became intention. Each collection marks a chapter of growth, resilience, and rediscovery, and I continue creating as I continue becoming.

Artistic Approach

I begin each piece with intention, but I leave space for the unexpected. I’m drawn to texture because it holds depth ~ both visually and emotionally ~ and I build my work in layers that reflect that complexity. Sometimes the materials take the lead; resin shifts, colors bleed, paint reacts, and I allow those moments of accidentality to guide the direction. I don’t force control where movement wants to exist. My process is a balance between precision and surrender, structure and spontaneity...because often the most powerful details are the ones I didn’t plan.
